Well the last three shows have all had the same top seller!! Labradorite, Labradorite and more Labradorite!! Not only was it the top seller at the three shows but there have already been many re-orders since! I am glad everyone loves it. It truly is amazing with all that flash. It is a great stone that seems to really pick up whatever it is paired with. I have seen it with some unexpected combinations and when I actually saw them in person they did work together! So be brave, experiment with it, I think you might be pleasantly surprised and some of the combinations you come up with. So if you have not seen it at a show, take a look on the website and see what you think. It is kind of a hard stone to photograph so that you can see the flash but it is pretty!

We get sooooo many questions regarding the lava! So here is the scoop!
Our lava is all natural and is from Indonesia. It has not been treated, the only processing done to it is in the form of shaping it and drilling it. That is it! Sometimes if we have not had a chance to pre-wash it, it might feel a little dusty/chalky or oily from drilling it. You can simply wash it with soap and water or throw it in the dishwasher. A few years back when we started with our lava it was not long before a lot of Chinese vendors were selling it. They sell it very inexpensively. Some of our customers would ask about the price difference as ours costs more. After looking into it we found that most of the other lava out there has been reconstituted which means that it is lava but it is made from small pieces of lava that have been ground up and then held together with a resin or type of chemical. This is why it costs less. Our lava has to start out big enough to be shaped and it takes a lot more time to make and costs more because they are big pieces. For a while our lava sales slowed down when the reconstituted lava hit the market. It was not long until it picked up again as a lot of our customers said that when they used the other lava they had complaints of skin irritation from the chemicals and that it just didn’t feel “right”. The lava is very organic and looks great on either men or women. Even though it is very organic it can look very elegant and dressy as seen in the photo with the pearls and gold in it. So play with it and have some fun, you can get several different looks out of one strand! That is the scoop folks, our lava is natural and NOT reconstituted and this should help explain some of the questions on it!

Hey Everyone,

I would like to welcome you all to our blog.  I have really neglected it and actually forgot the info to the last one and so WordPress wouldn’t give me my old one back so I had to start a new one…Anyhow I am hoping to be able to keep up with it this time!

We just added some great new Rubys to the website. They are a big raw natural Ruby.  They are very unique, one side is natural and the other side has been polished but with a matte finish. They make great focals and even look very nice as a dramatic necklace with several pieces.

We also added some Demantoid Garnets. The Garnets are one of the most rare Garnets. They are naturally formed crystals that we just drilled. They really sparkle! They are a very different green and are really stunning. It is kind of hard to show the sparkle in the photos.

I know some of you have been looking for more of our Herkimer Diamonds and I found a few strands that were misplaced and just added those.  Don’t delay on those, there are not many and it is getting harder and harder to get that type of quality!

I will try to get some photos up of the above items in the next few days to give you an idea of how they look. Also you can post your own photos with our stones in the designs or email it to me and I can post it for you.
